NEW RTU Combines Ethernet, I/O, Logging and Control
Omniflex, specialists in Remote Monitoring systems have now added ISaGRAF IEC61131-3 PLC programming option to the state-of-the-art M2e RTU. The result is a compact RTU offering PLC functionality with local data logging and multiplexing capability.
The M2e is ideal for remote monitoring and PLC applications where local control and data logging would be beneficial, with the ability to communicate over Ethernet back to a central monitoring point such as DCS or SCADA System.
Features of the Teleterm M2e
• Standard 10/100 Ethernet port for easy connectivity to your existing network infrastructure
• 12 Inputs and/or Outputs (Analogue or Digital – software configurable) for best fit to your application
• One RS232/485 port with Modbus ASCII/RTU – Master/Slave, Conet/s, or custom protocols
• A Separate programming port for easy setup
• Optional IEC61131-3 (ISaGRAF) PLC programming with function block support for local PID loops etc.
• microSD Memory Card Slot for flexible off-line data logging programmed from ISaGRAF
• Wide 9 - 30Vdc powered with low power consumption
• Remote programming over Ethernet
• On-board battery backed real-time clock, temperature sensor and voltage monitor

• Read multiple Modbus products locally using the serial port, then read acquired data over Ethernet fast.
